Jayden is the kind of guy who will make your husband's wacky dreams seem like good ideas. Thankfully he usually uses this power for good instead of evil.
Innately philanthropic, Jayden believes if everyone acted with a little more habitual kindness, the world would be a better place. He is generous to a fault, a happy little reaction clicker on social media; dishing out angry faces, thumbs and hearts with reckless abandon. That's how you know he likes you. 
Jayden is at least the second best creative design guy in the business and is appropriately sure of his own amazingness. With a genuine love of hard work, Jayden spends much of his recreation time watching his wife and daughters become Crossfit champions. 
And Jayden's dog is nicer than Ian's.

Ian Clarquinn

Partner, Design & Branding, all round lunacy

Ian has a profound connection with the internet and has begun most of his significant adult relationships that way. People like him for his choice in wife, and sometimes credit him with making perfectly normal weirdo children. We think the weirdo part comes mostly from him, or at the very least is nourished by his willingness to make weird seem normal.
Ian is a proficient early adopter and loved social media long before emojis were ever a glint in the semi-colon's eye. A slightly off kilter, big picture kind of guy, Ian thrives on dad jokes and shiny new ideas. He is excitable and passionate and makes some of the rest of us seem like we see the world through a mediocre lens. Pick him. He rocks like a rocking thing (but not a rocking chair, that'll put him to sleep).

Insipiration, The original design Disruptor

Long before branding agencies, hipster designers, and creative think tanks, there was Leonardo Fibonacci—a 12th-century numbers nerd who unknowingly shaped modern design.

Fibonacci didn’t set out to be a creative genius. He was just a guy obsessed with patterns, balance, and the magic of proportions. His claim to fame? The Fibonacci Sequence—a mathematical formula that pops up in nature, art, architecture, and yes, damn good logo design.

His work laid the foundation for the Golden Ratio, a design principle so universally pleasing that it’s been used in everything from the Parthenon to Apple’s logo. At Plain Black Creative, we tap into these timeless principles to craft logos and branding that just feel right—because great design isn’t just about looking cool; it’s about structure, balance, and a little mathematical magic.

So while Fibonacci probably never imagined his work being used for amazing brand identities and viral marketing campaigns, we like to think he’d approve.
